The Felt Sense - Somatic Meditations to Support Healing
'The Felt Sense' somatic meditations sprung from my Recover Me trauma recovery course. These somatic meditations are intended to help you safely associate to your body and your 'felt' experience. Many of us walk around disconnected from our bodies and our emotions, either because we have learned this way of living, or because there may be unprocessed or traumatic experiences that are too overwhelming to feel. This series provides a gentle trauma-informed way to start listening to the story of the body being safely connected to your experiences. Start with 1) Full body presence, to get a sense of where you are in your somatic journey---Follow Natalia Rachel:╰ https://www.facebook.com/nataliarachelchange╰ https://www.instagram.com/natalia_rachel_change╰ https://www.nataliarachel.com
The Felt Sense - Somatic Meditations to Support Healing
Self-Compassion and Containment Meditation
In order to heal we need to cultivate a deep sense of self-compassion, so that we can meet our pain, our shadows and all the parts of us that are craving to be seen, heard and held.
The ability to contain our difficult or overwhelming experiences is also really important because we begin to learn that it is safe to tune in, process and heal. It also helps us stop perpetuating cycles of bias, disrespect and dysfunction.
When we pair self-compassion and containment, we become empowered and self-trusting in our quest to heal.
Here is Natalia's new somatic meditation to support you to cultivate these two powerful ingredients.
