Emotional Somatics
We will do just about anything not to feel emotions or experiences that are overwhelming or difficult to be with. But feeling is an essential part of being alive. Feeling an emotion also allows us to move through it and beyond it, into whatever is next. Emotions are right-brain experiences and connect deeply with the felt sense of the body. Once we start to understand the somatic life of an emotion, we can work to feel, process, release, and integrate it. This meditation will support you to dip safely into your right brain experience and make sense of what emotions may be available to you now.
